Read MoreThe National Holocaust Museum
Published 09/06/23, by Tracy FrancisAs part of our RE curriculum and our History topic (World War 2), we visited the Holocaust museum in Laxton. We began with a tour of The Journey exhibition led by an educator. We were taken through a series of rooms, each designed to authentically represent a time period in Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1938 and a stage in a child’s personal journey, then we were able to learn about specific survivor's stories. At the end, we all placed a stone on the memorial.
